Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.
MeisterSinger is a German watch manufacturer specializing in mechanical wristwatches, and it is based in Münster. The company was founded in 2001 by Weller Manfred Brassler, who had previously co-founded "Watch People" in 1989 with Klaus Botta. After selling "Watch People" in 1999, Brassler went on to pursue his interest in creating higher-end mechanical timepieces, which led to the establishment of MeisterSinger in 2001.
One of the distinctive features of MeisterSinger watches is the use of a single hand on their dials, creating a unique and minimalist time-telling experience. Additionally, they are known for achieving a sense of symmetry by using double-digit numbers on the dial, contributing to their elegant design aesthetic.
In 2013, MeisterSinger released a special watch that was based on the clock face of Westminster Abbey to commemorate the 60th coronation anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II. This watch exemplified the brand's ability to incorporate historical and cultural elements into their timepieces.
Over the years, MeisterSinger has received recognition for its design excellence, earning several prestigious design awards. Initially, the brand utilized ETA SA movements for their watches. However, due to limited availability, they later developed their own in-house movements, showcasing their dedication to innovation and craftsmanship.
