The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Introducing MeisterSinger Unveils the Edition Black One

Marking the Brand’s First Participation in Watches and Wonders

MeisterSinger is the world’s leading brand in single-hand watches, renowned for its award-winning designs and exceptional Swiss craftsmanship. The brand is distinguished by its unique approach to time display, forgoing traditional minute and second hands in favor of a single hand that indicates the current moment, embodying a philosophy of simplicity and precision.

Ahead of the Watches and Wonders 2025 exhibition, and to mark its first participation, the independent brand unveils a special and striking edition of its iconic single-hand design, the Edition Black One. This timepiece features an all-black design inspired by one of nature’s most powerful forces volcanoes.

The watch comes in a 41.5mm stainless steel case, coated with a DLC black layer, enhancing its durability and scratch resistance. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating ensures optimal clarity. The case back, secured with six screws, features a mineral glass window printed with Edition Black One 100/100, along with a design inspired by volcanic formations.

The dial is finished in deep black with a grained textured surface reminiscent of volcanic rock, displaying time in MeisterSinger’s signature single-hand style, indicating both the hours and minutes. The hour markers are highlighted in yellow, accompanied by a white minute track for enhanced contrast and readability. Additionally, the numerals and indices are coated with a luminous material that glows in the dark for improved visibility. Each indice between the hours represents a five-minute interval, with thicker indices marking quarter-hour and half-hour positions.

The watch is powered by the SW200 caliber from Sellita, an automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offering a 38-hour power reserve.

It is fitted with a durable yellow rubber strap that complements the dial numerals, with an additional black rubber strap as an alternative option. Both straps feature a stainless steel pin buckle.

The MeisterSinger Edition Black One is limited to 100 pieces and is priced at €2,190, approximately AED 8,300.
