The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Audemars Piguet and Spider-Man Unite in Time: The Marvel x Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon Spider-Man

In a breathtaking twist of fate, two worlds collide as the mighty Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet joins forces with the legendary superhero Spider-Man in an epic collaboration.

Like a cosmic convergence of horology and heroism, the Marvel x Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon Spider-Man emerges as a beacon of innovation and modernity, weaving a web of timeless sophistication.

Deep within the realms of Swiss haute-horlogerie, Audemars Piguet has always dared to break new ground, connecting watchmaking with a broader culture. Just as Peter Parker, the young hero bitten by a radioactive spider, traverses the delicate balance between his dual identities, Audemars Piguet continues to explore uncharted territories, seeking inspiration from pop culture.

With the success of their previous collaboration, Audemars Piguet's partnership with Marvel Entertainment has given birth to a horological marvel of its own. The Royal Oak Concept, a platform of audacious experimentation since 2002, serves as the perfect canvas for this second chapter of their extraordinary union.

Behold the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon Spider-Man, a watch that transcends time and space with its distinctive and futuristic design. Its edgy case, crafted from grade 5 titanium, stands at 42mm in diameter, exuding a powerful aura. Polished and micro-blasted finishes grace the top and bottom, while satin-finished sides add a touch of sleekness. The black ceramic octagonal bezel and screw-down crown bring forth striking contrast, strengthening its technological allure.

But it is within the heart of the watch, where audacious engineering and artistic craftsmanship unite, that the true marvel awaits. The hand-wound openworked tourbillon calibre 2974, a technical marvel inspired by the Code 11.59 collection, showcases Spider-Man seemingly suspended in time. A delicate dance between removing material and preserving rigidity, this aerial structure is a testament to Audemars Piguet's unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries. With a one-minute tourbillon beating at 21,600 vibrations/hour and an impressive 80-hour power reserve, this masterpiece marries precision with innovation.

Spider-Man himself comes to life in astonishing detail, a testament to the meticulous artistry behind each timepiece. Crafted from a block of white gold, the superhero's silhouette emerges, textured with laser engraving that captures the essence of his iconic suit. Every touch-up, every engraving-related finishing, is meticulously executed by the skilled hands of a single artisan, bringing forth a unique and captivating piece of art. Hand-painted with utmost care, Spider-Man's presence radiates from both sides of the watch, a constant reminder of his indomitable spirit.

Adorned with a black and grey rubber strap, the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon Spider-Man embraces versatility. With Audemars Piguet's innovative strap interchangeability system, effortlessly swap to a spare black and red rubber strap, transforming the watch to match your mood and style. Secured to the wrist by a titanium folding buckle, this timepiece becomes an extension of your heroic journey.

As the Marvel x Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon Spider-Man emerges into the world, it does so in a limited series of only 250 pieces, each one a testament to the union of timekeeping mastery and the essence of a beloved superhero.
