The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing MeisterSinger Unveils The Pangaea Day Date 365 in Gray

A nostalgic classic design with beautiful modern touches

MeisterSinger has established itself as a unique watchmaker, renowned for its single-hand timepieces that hark back to traditional timekeeping methods. Over the years, the German brand has consistently focused on this distinctive approach across all its releases. Its latest launch introduces a fresh take on one of its most iconic models: the Pangaea Day Date 365, now available with a new grey dial.

The watch retains its signature 40mm stainless steel case with an elegant, slim 10.5mm profile. The fully polished three-part case is topped with a domed sapphire crystal, while the transparent caseback, secured with six screws, offers a clear view of the movement in action. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, making it suitable for daily wear but not extensive water exposure.

The most notable update in this edition is its sunray grey dial. It maintains the brand’s signature aesthetic, featuring vintage-style numerals and fonts. Orange accents highlight the indices, while the day and date are displayed on two rotating rings beneath the 12 o’clock position. As always, the watch features a single hand, serving as both the hour and minute indicator, marking time in five-minute increments.

Powering the watch is the Swiss Sellita SW-220 automatic movement, specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand display. Operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz), it delivers a 38-hour power reserve. The movement comes with a rotor customized with MeisterSinger’s branding.

The watch comes fitted with a dark brown calf leather strap featuring white stitching. However, MeisterSinger also offers additional options, including a steel bracelet and other leather straps. It is part of the brand’s permanent collection, and is priced at EUR 2,590, which is approximately AED 9,900.
