The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Fears Bristol

The British brand Fears Bristol was established in 1846 by Mr. Edwin Fear. It is a well-known watch brand with a rich heritage and a long history, being one of the oldest watch companies. Over the years, the brand has undergone numerous changes and challenges, including expanding its premises and changing its name to Fears Limited. It has also successfully navigated through the difficulties posed by World War II.

In 2021, the brand celebrated its 175th anniversary, which stands as a testament to its enduring legacy and fine craftsmanship. As part of the celebration, Fears unveiled the Archival 1930 watch, which is a reinterpretation of a classic timepiece in the Art Deco style. This watch reflects the brand's commitment to honoring its history while embracing contemporary design elements.

In 2022, the brand relocated its headquarters and showroom to the city of Bristol, which holds historical significance for the brand. This move further strengthens the brand's connection to its roots and provides a suitable backdrop for its operations and display.
