The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Angelus

The Swiss watch brand's founding date traces back to 1891 when it was established by the Stolz brothers in the Le Locle region of Switzerland. Over more than a century, the brand has solidified its position as a prominent member of the watchmaking world, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovation.

The Angelus brand introduced the world's first series chronograph with a calendar in 1942, revolutionizing watch functionality. Additionally, in 1958, the brand launched the Tinkler, a pioneering achievement as the first automatic and waterproof repeater wristwatch, highlighting its commitment to pushing the boundaries of watchmaking technology.

The brand's expertise extends to crafting intricate movements, including repeaters and chronographs, which have earned them prestigious awards at international exhibitions.

In 2015, the brand continued its legacy of innovation by unveiling a collection of 21st-century timepieces, reaffirming its reputation as a forward-thinking watch brand.
