Introducing Massena LAB Collaborates with Raúl Pagès to Unveil the Noctograph
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A unique piece with all proceeds benefiting the LA Fire Foundation
The world has witnessed the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles over the past few days, with fast-moving flames destroying thousands of homes and buildings. The extreme conditions forced mass evacuations, even prompting LVMH Watch Week to relocate from LA to New York.
However, in times of crisis, brands that give back stand out, and British watchmaker William Wood has stepped up with a charitable initiative. The brand has released the USA Fire Exit Watch, a one-of-a-kind timepiece that will be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting the LA Fire Foundation in support of those battling the devastating fires.
The USA Fire Exit Watch builds upon the previous green Fire Exit watch but has a red-and-white color scheme inspired by US fire exit signs. The watch features a robust 41mm gunmetal grey 316L stainless steel case, measuring 13.5mm thick, identical to its predecessor. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, while a white unidirectional rotating bezel features red 60-minute graduations. Turning the watch over, the caseback features a rectangular window displaying a Fire Exit Sign Man, symbolizing the urgency and dedication of firefighters responding to emergencies.
The white dial features a black minute ring with red indices and an applied fire helmet logo. A circular date window, positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, is color-matched in red with white numerals. A signature feature of the Fire Exit series, the weekday wheel showcases seven distinct fire exit sign illustrations, each representing a daily activity.
The watch is powered by a Sellita SW220 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offering a 41-hour power reserve. It comes fitted with an upcycled red fire hose strap, reflecting the brand’s connection to firefighting heritage. Additionally, an extra strap made from repurposed California fire hose in bright orange is included.

As a one-of-a-kind timepiece, the USA Fire Exit Watch will not be available for regular purchase. Instead, it will be auctioned exclusively on William Wood’s website on February 1st, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the LA Fire Foundation.
