a Black Musou Dial in a Space-Inspired Design
Venezianico is an Italian watch brand founded in 2017 by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli in the city of Venice. Drawing inspiration from Italy’s iconic landmarks, the brand honors architectural and cultural symbols from across the country with each of its timepieces, such as the bridges and canals of Venice, as well as ancient Roman landmarks. The brand has introduced several models paying tribute to these iconic monuments, including the "Arsenale" watches, which honors the historic Arsenale building in Venice. Today, we are presenting the latest release, the "Arsenale Ultra Black", a timepiece that evokes the spirit of adventure and exploration that has inspired the world of space.
This watch features a sleek 316L stainless steel case with a 40 mm diameter, a lug-to-lug measurement of 44 mm, and a slim profile at just 8.95 mm thick, including the sapphire crystal. The case is designed with a polished, serrated bezel, while the rest of the surfaces are finely brushed, offering a striking contrast in textures, Completing the design is the crown, adorned with the brand's logo. The anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal ensures optimal legibility. With a 50 meter water resistance, it's practical for everyday wear. The caseback, fixed with six screws, showcases a unique design featuring a space station set against the vastness of the cosmos, symbolizing exploration and the pursuit of new horizons. This blend of functionality and symbolic artistry adds an adventurous spirit to the watch’s elegant form.

The dial of the watch features the innovative Musou Black paint, which absorbs 99.4% of light, creating a striking minimalist aesthetic defined by an absolute black surface. This ultra-black finish enhances the dial’s depth, making it seem almost void-like, drawing attention to the pure form of the timepiece. Crafted with precision, the dial starts as a carefully prepared brass disc, onto which the Musou Black™ paint is applied using a fine airbrush for uniform coverage. The drying process takes place in a controlled, dust-free environment to prevent any imperfections, and the brand's logo drawing inspiration from the Renaissance cross atop the Clock Tower in St. Mark's Square is added with meticulous care above the silver hour and minute Dauphine hands. Each dial undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure that even the faintest mark is avoided, resulting in a flawless, ultra-sophisticated finish.
The watch is powered by the ultra-thin Miyota 9029 caliber, an automatic movement with a thickness of just 3.90 mm. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and provides a 42-hour power reserve.
It comes with a black rubber strap, priced at EUR 800 (approximately AED 3,200), or with an additional stainless steel Canova bracelet, priced at EUR 900 (approximately AED 3,600).
