The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Venezianico's First Regulator Timepiece, The Redentore Enigma

The Green Regulator Dial with the Redentore Case Design

Venezianico started in late 2017 when brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, who loved watches and design, were studying at Ca' Foscari University. They began shaping their idea: making watches that show their passion for watchmaking and capture the real feel of Venice, their hometown. North of Venice, specifically in the city of Milan, the fashion capital of Italy, preparations are underway for the launch of its first watch exhibition next October. You can read the article here.

The two brothers noticed a peculiar detail atop the ancient Clock Tower: a golden Renaissance cross, symbolizing the passage of time in the city of Venice. This event ignited their desire to venture forth, giving birth to a watch brand that would blend their passions and vision to become the Italian reference company in the watchmaking field. We previously discussed Italian watch brands in a detailed article. Now, the Italian company has launched its first regulator watch, the Redentore Enigma, which features a stunning green dial.

The watch comes in a 316L stainless steel case, the same used in the Redentore collection. The case measures 40mm in diameter, with a thickness of 10.7mm (11.4mm with the domed crystal) and a lug-to-lug length of just 46.7mm, making it extremely comfortable on the wrist. The case back displays decorations of the famous clock tower in Venice, the historical landmark from which the company took its logo.

For this new watch, Venezianico developed a more complex Redentore dial featuring one of the most appreciated mechanical complications by enthusiasts: the regulator. This is the design that we talked about its historical beginning and the reason behind it. In this article.

The hours are displayed on an off-center dial with a 24-hour indicator at 10 o'clock, while the minutes are indicated by a central hand. The dial and sub-dial are surrounded by two black rings. The hands feature a dauphine design.

The watch is powered by the automatic movement from Seiko, Caliber NH35A, offering a power reserve of 42 hours and beating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).

Talking about the movements, the company recently introduced the Bucintoro 1969 Limited Edition using the historical Lemania 1873 movement.

The Redentore Enigma comes with a green leather strap and is priced at EUR 625, which is equivalent to 2,500 AED.
