The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Introducing Venezianico Releases the Limited Edition Nereide Aureo

Elegant diving watch with 24K gold-treated dial paying homage to Venetian craftsmanship

Venezianico is a young Italian watch brand launched in 2017 by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli. Born out of their shared passion for watchmaking, the brand aims to capture the true essence of their hometown, Venice, in each of their timepieces. Venezianico is dedicated to producing good-quality watches at affordable prices, as we saw in the Bucintoro 1969

Now, the brand is unveiling the Nereide Aureo, a dive watch that seamlessly merges elegance with innovation as it features a dial embellished with a pure 24k gold treatment and a rippled finish, paying homage to the ancient Venetian art of lamination, which is a process of manufacturing a material in multiple layers.

The watch features a stainless steel case with a polished tungsten bezel, measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.5mm in thickness. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal with an antireflective coating. Designed for diving, it also includes a screw-down crown and offers water resistance up to 200 meters. The closed caseback is adorned with engravings of the interior of the ancient Roman architectural marvel, the basilica.

The 24K gold-treated dial of the watch pays homage to Venetian craftsmanship. Produced through a tumbling process and galvanic treatment, it evokes the ancient gilding techniques of the Serenissima Republic (Venetian Republic). The dial is further adorned with polished hands and indices coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low-light conditions, an applied logo, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position.

The watch is powered by Sellita SW200-1, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), and offers 41 hours of power reserve. The Nereide Aureo is the first model to feature this new bracelet, inspired by the works of Renaissance sculptor Jacopo Sansovino, renowned for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Composed of five links, two polished and three brushed, and a push-button deployant clasp.

The watch is limited to 500 pieces and the pre-order price is EUR 1035, equivalent to AED 4,200 instead of the original price EUR 1295, equivalent to AED 5,200.
