The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Vacheron Constantin Launches its Certified Pre-Owned Programme

Teaming Up with Watchfinder to Offer Trusted, Authenticated Pre-Owned Watches

Vacheron Constantin is expanding its offerings to include certified pre-owned watches, adding to a trend embraced by several luxury brands. While the company has been selling vintage timepieces through its “Les Collectionneurs” collection since 2008, the new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program provides additional assurance and service for second-hand buyers.

In recent years, brands like Rolex have introduced similar programs, with Rolex launching its own Certified Pre-Owned Program two years ago. However, Vacheron Constantin and Rolex are not alone; numerous luxury watch brands are recognizing the demand for authenticated pre-owned timepieces.

According to Vacheron Constantin, “The Certified Pre-Owned programme is a new step in supporting clients as they purchase pre-owned Vacheron Constantin watches from authorized resellers. It certifies and guarantees the proper functioning of second-hand Vacheron Constantin timepieces and their conformity with the Maison’s high quality standards.”

The Certified Pre-Owned program includes:

  • A 2-year international warranty covering repairs or replacements for defects
  • A unique digital passport using blockchain for secure ownership history and technical details
  • A guarantee letter confirming the watch’s functionality and service
  • A dedicated seal and pouch verifying it was sold through the CPO program

To support this initiative, Vacheron Constantin has partnered with Watchfinder & Co., a leading UK-based company specializing in pre-owned luxury watches since 2002. The collaboration isn’t surprising, as both companies are part of the Richemont Group. The brand has also indicated plans to expand the CPO program to other authorized partners in the future.
