The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Raymond Weil Expands the Millésime Chronograph with New 39mm Editions

Smaller Cases and Refined Design Options Draw Inspiration from Vintage Timepieces

Raymond Weil continues to build on the success of its Millésime collection by unveiling three new automatic chronograph models. These timepieces reflect the core philosophy of the collection—merging design elements inspired by traditional watchmaking with the precision and aspirations of contemporary horology.

The new models come in a compact 39mm case, slightly smaller and lighter than the brand’s previous chronograph editions, while retaining the vintage-inspired aesthetic. They feature fresh dial colors and are available in two case finishes: classic stainless steel and a rose gold PVD-coated version.

The Millésime Chronograph is still a relatively recent addition to the Raymond Weil lineup, having debuted just six months ago as part of a limited edition in collaboration with Largo Winch. That initial release included three models: a special edition alongside blue and black dial versions. Now, the brand expands the collection with two new variants: a reverse panda and an anthracite grey version.First launched in 2023, the Millésime collection, its name derived from the French term meaning "vintage" or "Classic", serves as Raymond Weil’s tribute to the elegance of historical watch design. Rather than reproducing past models, the collection draws on the spirit and refinement of mid-20th-century timepieces, emphasizing clean lines, functional layouts, and understated sophistication. The result is a nostalgic yet modern collection designed for today’s discerning watch enthusiasts.

The new chronographs are housed in 39mm cases, slightly reduced from the previous 39.5mm editions, with a consistent thickness of 12.9mm. The cases are available in two finishes: stainless steel or rose gold PVD-coated stainless steel. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a modern technique used to apply a thin, durable layer that mimics rose gold, giving the watch a warm and luxurious feel.

The case features a fluted crown at 3 o’clock engraved with the RW monogram, flanked by chronograph pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. The front is topped with a box-style sapphire crystal featuring dual-sided anti-reflective coating for optimal legibility and scratch resistance. The case back is also fitted with a sapphire crystal, offering a view of the automatic chronograph movement inside.

The dials are available in two versions: black and anthracite grey, both with a tri-compax layout featuring a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

The rose gold PVD model features an anthracite dial with silver subdials, creating a classic reverse panda look. Rose gold-toned Super-LumiNova accents on the hour markers add warmth to the monochrome design.

The stainless steel version features a segmented black dial with crisp white subdials. White Super-LumiNova on the hour indices ensures strong visual contrast and a clean aesthetic.

The new models are powered by the RW5030 automatic chronograph caliber the same used in the previous editions, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offering a 62-hour power reserve. With a height of only 4.6mm, the movement contributes to the slim profile and comfortable wearability of the watch.

The new 39mm Millésime Chronograph is available on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and double push-button security system, or on a black or light brown calf leather strap with a traditional pin buckle.

Prices start at USD 3,625 (approximately AED 13,300) for the stainless steel version on a leather strap, and go up to USD 3,775 approximately AED 13,865, for the rose gold PVD model or the stainless steel version on a bracelet.
