Modello Uno, Uno GMT, and Tre Chronograph Return in Three New Colors
Unimatic, the independent Italian brand known for its minimalist tool watches, expands its offering with three new references under the Diving Heritage collection. Based in Milan, the brand brings together functionality and vintage-inspired design across the new Modello Uno, Modello Uno GMT, and Modello Tre Chronograph models, each available in black, blue, or brown colorways.
A few months ago, Unimatic collaborated with Massena LAB to launch the U1-SPG “NASA Artemis” Limited Edition, celebrating NASA’s Artemis missions by infusing a bold pop of color into the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic.
All three new references share a 40mm case size, though the unidirectional bezel measures 41.5mm in diameter. Water resistance is rated at 300 meters. While the cases appear similar, subtle differences exist between the models. The Modello Uno and Modello Uno GMT feature a case thickness of 13.2mm (excluding the crystal) and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49mm.
The Modello Tre Chronograph, on the other hand, is slightly slimmer at 12.9mm but longer at 51.2mm. Each model features a screw-down crown and a solid stainless steel caseback engraved with the “Diving Heritage” collection name and the watch’s unique number out of 300.
A key functional element of any dive watch is the bezel. The Diving Heritage models are equipped with a 120-click unidirectional bezel offering precise, tactile feedback. Once set, it remains securely in place, avoiding any accidental movement that could affect dive timing. All three watches use a matte black aluminum insert for strong legibility. The GMT version, however, swaps the standard 60-minute scale for a 24-hour format.
Dial options include Navy Blue, Tropical Brown, and classic Black. Each features vintage-style “Old Radium” Super-LumiNova on the indices and hands. On the GMT model, the oversized GMT hand is skeletonized, with its arrow tip filled in matching lume.
Powering the new Modello Uno models are automatic Seiko movements: the NH35A caliber for the standard U1, and the NH34A caliber for the GMT version. Both operate at a frequency of 21,600 vph and offer a power reserve of 41 hours, with typical accuracy ranging from -20 to +40 seconds per day. The Modello Tre chronograph runs on a quartz movement
Each edition comes with a rubber TPU strap in a color matching the dial, paired with a stainless steel pin buckle. Each color is limited to only 300 pieces.
Prices are as follows 625 EUR (approximately 2,600 AED) for the U1, and 750 EUR (approximately 3,150 AED) for the U1 GMT.
