The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Ulysse Nardin, the esteemed Swiss luxury watchmaker with roots tracing back to 1846 in Le Locle, Switzerland, has garnered a stellar reputation for its precision and innovative watch designs. The brand has consistently led the way in watchmaking innovation, particularly noteworthy for its pioneering use of Siliciu m in their timepieces that improves resistance to magnetic interferences and thermal fluctuations, a breakthrough that has positioned their watches among the world's most precise chronometers.

The Ulysse Nardin Freak Collection, renowned for its avant-garde and inventive designs, stands as an iconic series of timepieces. This collection, which originated in 2001 under the guidance of owner Rolf Schnyder and watchmaker Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, continuously pushes the boundaries of conventional watchmaking.

At the Geneva Watch Days 2023 event, Ulysse Nardin unveiled the "Blast Free Wheel Marquetry," a creation that seamlessly meld precision engineering and artistic craftsmanship. Featuring 45mm diameter faceted white gold satin-finished and polished case.

Notable among its features are the 103 inlays of luminous blue silicium marquetry, imbuing the timepiece with a modern and distinctive appeal. The openworked dial showcases a 7-day power reserve barrel at 12 o'clock, a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, a winding wheel at 3 o'clock, and a power reserve indicator at 4 o'clock, with power reserve measurement gauge at 8 o'clock.

The watch derives its power from the manual-winding manufacture UN-176 movement, operating at 18,000 vph. The case back of the Blast Free Wheel Marquetry features a blue silicon plate, underscoring the brand's commitment to utilizing premium materials.

This timepiece can be worn with either a blue alligator leather strap or a blue velvet-effect waterproof rubber strap, secured with a white gold deployant buckle. Priced at CHF 130,000, equivalent to AED 540,000.
