Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

The Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT Zulu Time watch is the latest addition to Tudor’s Pelagos collection, featuring the signature “FiXeD” lug structure that was reintroduced in 2021 in collaboration with the Marine Nationale. Tudor has been supplying the French Navy with reliable diving watches since the 1950s, making it an essential part of naval operations for decades.

This newest version extends the partnership between Tudor and the French military, specifically the French Naval Aviation, by incorporating a GMT display. This feature allows aviators and flight support personnel to track “Zulu Time,” a crucial function for coordinating operations across time zones.

The Pelagos FXD GMT can track up to three time zones simultaneously, one of which is Zulu Time—also known as Universal Time Coordinated (UTC)—a standard reference used by aviators worldwide. Zulu Time corresponds to the zero meridian or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), making it essential for missions where precise timing is critical.

The Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT Zulu Time watch measures 42mm in diameter, 12.7mm in thickness, and has a 52mm lug-to-lug span. Its case, crafted from grade 2 titanium, is water-resistant to 200 meters. The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal on the front and a grade 5 titanium caseback, which features the emblem of the Aéronautique Navale (French Naval Aviation)—a winged anchor topped with a star—and is engraved with “M.N.24” for “Marine Nationale 2024,” indicating the production year of each batch.

The black matte dial has applied triangular and rectangular hour markers filled with beige-toned grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova that emits a blue glow. The iconic snowflake hour and seconds hands, along with the minute hand, are luminescent, while the orange GMT hand with its arrowhead tip glows green to match the bezel markers. A date window is positioned at 3 o'clock, adjustable via the hour hand.

Powering this model is the Tudor Caliber MT5652 automatic movement, introduced at Baselworld in 2018. This movement operates at a 4 Hz frequency and has a 65-hour power reserve. Its silicon balance spring is non-magnetic, and it incorporates a variable inertia balance with micro-adjustment screws, enabling resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It is certified by both METAS and COSC, guaranteeing accuracy within 0 to +5 seconds per day.

The watch is paired with a green fabric strap featuring a grade 2 titanium pin buckle. It joins Tudor's permanent lineup at a retail price of CHF 4,350, approximately 18,500 AED.
