The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Tissot Unveils The 2025 T-Race MotoGP Automatic Chronograph

Celebrating over two decades of partnership with MotoGP with an openworked dial

You’ve probably seen Tissot’s name at many sporting events, from cycling and fencing to ice hockey, and even in motorsports, where it has sponsored Formula One racing teams like Lotus, Renault, and Sauber. In 2001, Tissot became the Official Timekeeper of MotoGP, which is what we are focusing on today.

Building on this partnership, Tissot introduced the T-Race collection in 2013, capturing the adrenaline of motorcycle racing through bold design cues. From a brake disc-inspired bezel to pushers modeled after handlebars and engine cooling fins on the case sides, every detail echoes MotoGP’s spirit. This year, Tissot takes it up a notch with the 2025 T-Race MotoGP Automatic Chronograph, featuring an openworked dial to celebrate over two decades of partnership.

The watch comes in a 316L stainless steel case with black PVD coating, measuring 45mm in diameter and 14.79mm in thickness. The bezel, as mentioned, is designed to resemble a brake disc with slots and six screws. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, while the see-through caseback offers a glimpse into the watch's intricate mechanics. The timepiece is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it suitable for various conditions.

The openworked dial reveals the movement beneath, framed by a blue tachymeter scale. At the 3 o’clock position lies a 30-minute subdial, while the small seconds subdial is located at 9 o’clock. The hands and applied indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring readability in low-light conditions. Notably, the dial includes a 12-hour chronograph counter at 6 o'clock that lacks its own track, which may impact readability.

Powering the watch is the Valjoux A05.951, an automatic chronograph movement operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offering a power reserve of 68 hours. The watch is paired with a black silicone strap, featuring textures inspired by motorcycle engine parts.

This model is limited to 2,025 pieces, with each watch presented in a helmet-shaped box. It is priced at USD 2,095, approximately equivalent to AED 8,000.
