The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Zenith Defy Skyline Dubai Edition

A stunning dial inspired by Dubai’s sunsets and its sand dunes

In 2022, Zenith introduced the Defy Skyline, a bold reinterpretation of the classic sports watch with its striking octagonal-shaped case. Since its debut, the lineup has expanded with an array of releases, including chronographstourbillons, and skeletonized models.

Now, Zenith continues to elevate the collection as it launched the Defy Skyline Dubai Edition, a limited-edition timepiece with a beautiful salmon-orange dial, inspired by the ethereal beauty of Dubai’s sunsets and the surrounding sand dunes.

Aside from the striking dial, the case retains its signature style, crafted from stainless steel with a blend of brushed and polished finishes. It features a distinctive raised 12-sided bezel and sapphire crystal on both the front and back. The case measures 41mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness, and ensures 100-meter water resistance.

As we have mentioned, the dial captures the beauty of Dubai’s sunsets and the golden hues of its surrounding sand dunes with a captivating salmon-orange hue. It features an elegant sunburst pattern and uses Eastern Arabic numerals that pay homage to centuries-old traditions. The center hands for hours and minutes are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low light, complemented by a date window with black Eastern Arabic numerals positioned at 3 o’clock. Additionally, a 1/10th of a second sub-dial is prominently displayed at 9 o’clock.
At the heart of the watch is the in-house El Primero 3620 caliber, an automatic movement that operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch is paired with an integrated stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp, and the watch is limited to 100 pieces, and exclusively available online and at Zenith Boutiques in Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates, price is available upon request.
