The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Introducing The New Unimatic x Massena Lab U1-SPG "NASA Artemis" Limited Edition

A collaboration that commemorate NASA’s Artemis missions with a bold hue

Unimatic is an Italian independent brand known for its minimalist tool watches that blend function and design. Its most recent partnership is with Massena Lab, a company recognized for its curated collaborations, bringing a collector’s eye to unique watch designs. Their latest project together is the Unimatic x Massena Lab U1-SPG 'NASA Artemis' Limited Edition, created to commemorate NASA’s Artemis missions, which aim to return astronauts to the Moon for the first time since the Apollo missions of the 1960s and 1970s.

The case is crafted from stainless steel and coated in a distinctive matte burnt orange Artemis Cerakote finish (ceramic coating), ensuring both durability and a unique aesthetic. It measures 40mm in diameter and 13.2mm in thickness. The unidirectional rotating safety bezel features a charcoal Cerakote finish and a 60-minute scale. The dial is protected by a 2.5mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating for optimal legibility, while the screw-down crown and screwed caseback, reinforces the watch’s robust 300-meter water resistance.

The matte black dial features beige Super-LumiNova indexes for excellent low-light readability, and the historic NASA ‘worm’ logo sits prominently above 6 o’clock. The dial also includes a phantom GMT hand with a surrounding 24-hour scale.

Powering the watch is the Seiko NH34A caliber, an automatic movement operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) with a 42-hour power reserve. The watch comes with two nylon straps: an orange nylon strap with a nylon keeper and a steel pin buckle coated in burnt orange Cerakote, perfectly complementing the case, and an additional black nylon strap with a nylon keeper.

Limited to just 99 pieces, the U1-SPG is priced at USD 1,295, approximately AED 4,800, and has already sold out.
