The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Turbine Poker Royal Flush From Perrelet

A bold design for this limited edition dedicated to card game enthusiasts

In 2004, Perrelet embarked on a new chapter in its history, which extends back more than two hundred years, by becoming part of the Spanish Group "Festina," injecting it with new vitality. In 2009, the company unveiled The Turbine Collection, marking a milestone with its innovative design and renowned craftsmanship. This collection encompasses a diverse array of models, with the turbine design being the cornerstone of these watches. This includes the recently showcased smallest-sized titanium model at the Geneva Watch Days, boasting a broad spectrum of captivating colors. Furthermore, Perrelet created a unique masterpiece exclusively for the Only Watch auction, a one-of-a-kind timepiece. Now, the company returns with its distinctive design ethos imbued with a bold flair, introducing a limited-edition marvel: The "Turbine Poker Royal Flush."

The timepiece boasts a 44mm case, featuring a central body crafted from polycarbonate and carbon fiber, adorned with its distinctive grooves. Complementing this design, the flat, smooth bezel and caseback come in matte black PVD stainless steel. Personalized with the letter "P" of the logo, the crown echoes.. With water resistance up to 100 meters, the watch is suitable for daily wear, enduring wet conditions and splashes. Its dial is shielded by a double anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is also fitted on the rear of the watch. Limited to XX out of 99, the inscription is transferred onto the sapphire crystal case back.

Moving to the dial, it presents a captivating fusion of innovation and style. Utilizing Turbine Technology, it showcases a striking 12-blade turbine made from black anodized aluminum, highlighted by five tungsten counterweights beneath, the design of the second generation of the Turbine line, initially introduced with the Turbine EVO models during the 10th anniversary celebration of turbine technology in 2019.

Against a backdrop of a black lower dial adorned with poker playing cards, the suits of diamonds and clubs emerge, infusing a hint of playful sophistication. The black hour track, embellished with symbols of the four suits and figures in contrasting white and red, delivers a visually stimulating experience. Applied Arabic numerals and indices, filled with white Super-LumiNova, guarantee readability even in low-light conditions, while luminescent hour and minute hands further enhance clarity. A bold red central seconds hand provides a final touch, completing the dynamic and meticulously crafted design of the dial.

The Perrelet Turbine Poker Royal Flush watch is powered by an automatic movement. The company only uses a self-winding movement in its watches in honor of its founder, Abraham Louis Perrelet, who was the first to develop the automatic movement. This watch is powered by the automatic caliber P-331-MH movement, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations. per hour (4 Hz), and provides a 42-hour power reserve. The movement was designed entirely in-house and manufactured by the Swiss company Suprod, a subsidiary of the Festina group, which also owns Perelé. The P-331-MH caliber is so reliable that it has received two different horological certifications from reputable independent institutions: one from COSC and the other from Chronofiable. As for the final finishes, the main plate is decorated with a snailed pattern, the bridges are decorated with a circular grain pattern, and the oscillating weight is polished and rhodium-plated, which bears the Perrelet logo.
