The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Seiko 5 Sports Heritage “Kamen Rider” SRPL03 & SRPL05

Reviving one of the iconic Seiko 5 models from past times

In 1968, Seiko introduced the Seiko 5 Sports collection, featuring reliable mechanical watches with sporty designs. The collection was relaunched in 2019, continuing its legacy as one of the most famous sports collections, with prices that suit everyone. Last year, Seiko celebrated the 55th anniversary of the Seiko 5 Sports collection by releasing four watches inspired by the original models from the late 1960s, honoring its rich heritage and enduring appeal.

This year, Seiko introduces two new additions to the Seiko 5 collection: the Seiko 5 Sports SRPL03 and SRPL05. These limited editions are reissues of the iconic Seiko 5 Sport watch, reference 5126-8090, known as the “Kamen Rider.” This watch is named after an early 1970s Japanese film.

Seiko has unveiled a new design that mirrors the look of the original Seiko 5 Sports 5126-8090 Kamen Rider. These two new watches feature identical cushion-shaped stainless steel cases, measuring 38.5mm in diameter and 12.4mm in thickness. Like the original, the case includes a rotating bezel with a silver-toned metallic insert and a crown positioned at 4 o'clock.

The SRPL03 features a silver brushed dial, while the SRPL05 boasts a grained matte black dial, both inspired by the original design. The dials are adorned with baton hands and indices, complemented by a red lollipop seconds hand. Additionally, the day and date window is positioned at 3 o'clock.

The watch is powered by the Calibre 4R36, an automatic movement that runs at 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a 41-hour power reserve. Each variant comes with a brushed steel bracelet featuring a three-fold clasp with push-button release, as well as an additional black leather strap. Both models are limited to 9,999 pieces and are priced at EUR 460, equivalent to AED 1,800.
