The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Praesidus Watch Co. Pathfinder 44 Bastogne Edition

A new release featuring a dial made from WWII parachute camouflage fabric

Praesidus Watch Co. was founded in 2019 and is dedicated to reviving the incredible stories of WWII veterans through its releases. The brand also donates 5% of each sale to veteran organizations, reinforcing its mission to preserve the legacy of heroism and resilience.

In its latest release, Praesidus introduces the Pathfinder 44 - Bastogne Edition, a timepiece that pays tribute to the 101st Airborne Division and the sacrifices of D-Day veterans. The watch's unique feature lies in its dial, which incorporates an authentic piece of camouflage fabric sourced from a WWII parachute, making each unit a one-of-a-kind connection to history. This edition specifically honors American soldier Tom Rice, who lost his A-11-issued watch during his jump from a C-47 Skytrain into Normandy on D-Day.

The watch comes in a 38mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 12.5mm, designed for durability. It is equipped with a double-domed sapphire crystal, ensuring scratch resistance and clarity. The screw-down crown ensures 100 meters of water resistance, making the watch suitable for everyday wear and outdoor adventures.

A standout feature of the watch, as mentioned, is its dial, crafted from genuine 1943 T-5 camouflage parachute nylon in green. The dial also features baton-style hands coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring readability in low-light conditions.

Powered by the renowned Japanese Miyota 9039 automatic movement, the watch operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. It comes with a choice of a brown or black leather strap and is priced at $550, approximately AED 2,000.
