Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Maurice Lacroix is a Swiss brand known for delivering good craftsmanship at an affordable price. As an independent brand, it operates under its own ateliers and manufacturing facilities, ensuring quality standards across its collection. Since the Aikon collection's release in 2016, Maurice Lacroix has introduced a variety of bold, summer-inspired timepieces, as well as elegant models in bronze cases. This collection serves as a modern take on the classic sports watch, combining Swiss precision with distinctive style.
On the occasion of Geneva Watch days 2024, Maurice Lacroix is introducing new versions of its Aikon Automatic and Aikon Automatic Chronograph, featuring a blend of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, and showcased in stunning, fashionable colors.
Starting with the more intricate model from this release, the Aikon Automatic Chronograph boasts a case crafted from a blend of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, measuring 44mm in diameter and 15mm in thickness. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal, which is also present on the case back, offering a clear view of the movement. The chronograph is operated by two pushers positioned at 2 and 4 o'clock. Additionally, this timepiece is equipped with a robust 200-meter water resistance, making it both functional and stylish.
The dial of the watch is available in two striking options: a vibrant purple with contrasting silver counters or an elegant gold paired with black subdials. Both versions feature a refined Clous de Paris pattern that enhances the visual depth of the dial. The layout includes a 30-minute chronograph counter at 12 o’clock, a day and date window at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a small seconds display at 9 o’clock. For optimal legibility in low light conditions, the hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova.
Powering the Aikon Automatic Chronograph is the Calibre ML112, an automatic movement based on the reliable ETA/Valjoux 7750. It provides a power reserve of 48 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). Complementing the titanium case, the watch features an integrated bracelet crafted from the same mix of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium. Both dial variants are priced at USD 4,600, or approximately AED 17,000.
The simpler counterpart in this release is the Aikon Automatic, focusing on a more straightforward time and date display. Like the Chronograph variant, this watch features a case and bracelet crafted from a mix of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, but has a smaller size at 42mm x 11mm. The Aikon Automatic is available in two dial options: a bold purple hue or a refined gray. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, and for enhanced visibility, the hands and indices are treated with Super-LumiNova, maintaining the collection's balance of style and functionality.

At the core of the Aikon Automatic is the Calibre ML115, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1. This movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and provides a power reserve of 38 hours. The watch is priced at USD 2,950, or approximately AED 10,800.
