The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Limited Edition Glashütte Original PanoMaticInverse

A platinum piece with hand-engraved dial inspired by Dresden's iconic Landmarks

Dresden is a stunning Baroque city and the capital of Saxony, home to several landmarks that are renowned far beyond Germany's borders, and it was in Dresden during the 19th century that the initiative to establish watchmaking in the Ore Mountains began. This year, Glashütte Original honors Dresden's historical significance with the launch of the PanoMaticInverse, a limited edition timepiece featuring a hand-engraved dial with the outlines of Dresden's iconic domes.

The watch has a 42mm diameter and a 12.3mm thickness, with a case made from elegant polished platinum. It features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both the front and back, ensuring clarity and reducing glare.

The PanoMaticInverse features a reversed movement with an exposed balance wheel positioned at 4 o’clock, and an intricate hand-engraved rhodium-plated mainplate that evokes Dresden's historic landmarks. It showcases the dome of the Academy of Fine Arts, and the distinctive lantern atop the Frauenkirche Church, as well as a hot air balloon, birds, and clouds. The dial includes a big date window positioned at 2 o'clock, and a hand-engraved balance bridge with a Baroque-inspired design, reflecting Dresden's rich architectural heritage.

The disc indicating the hours and minutes is made of sapphire crystal, featuring dark gray roman numerals and skeletonized blued hands. The small seconds are displayed on a smaller sapphire crystal disc that intersects with the larger one.

On the other side of the watch, you can spot the hand-engraved depictions of historical buildings and an openworked rotor that also features the silhouette of the Frauenkirche’s lantern. The watch is powered by the automatic in-house caliber 91-03, operating at a frequency of 28,800vph (4Hz) and offering a power reserve of 45 hours. It comes with a blue alligator leather strap with a platinum folding clasp, and it's limited to just 25 pieces, priced at EUR 50,400, which is equivalent to AED 198,000.
