Two limited editions in platinum and ceramic cases
Since 2005, IWC has partnered with the family of the french pilot and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to support children and youth facing challenging circumstances. Through this long-standing collaboration, the brand has raised funds by auctioning exclusive timepieces, with proceeds benefiting charitable projects tied to the beloved author’s legacy. At the heart of this initiative is a special line of watches inspired by the Le Petit Prince tale.
Now, the brand is adding two new limited editions to the “Le Petit Prince” line within the Pilot’s Watches collection: a blue ceramic perpetual calendar tourbillon and a platinum tourbillon. Both showcase the brand’s most sophisticated complications while paying tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s enduring legacy.
This is the first Le Petit Prince edition to be housed in ceramic. The 46.5mm x 16.18mm case is rendered in deep blue ceramic, matched by a blue dial and textured rubber strap. Contrasting gold elements, including the 18-carat 5N gold crown and caseback ring, add warmth and regal flair. The gold-plated hands and appliqués are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility.

The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 51950, which combines a perpetual calendar and a flying minute tourbillon. The calendar displays the date, day, month, year in four digits, and a moon phase, reimagined as the Little Prince standing on his asteroid. At 12 o’clock, the flying tourbillon, built from 82 parts and weighing just 0.635 grams, rotates gracefully once per minute.
Operating at 19,800 vph (2.75 Hz), the movement offers an impressive 168-hour power reserve, and the rotor is shaped like the Little Prince on his asteroid. This edition is limited to 100 pieces and priced at EUR 118,000, approximately AED 490,000.
For the second model, IWC presents the Tourbillon Le Petit Prince in a platinum edition. Measuring 43mm in diameter and 14.58mm in thickness, the platinum case is paired with a blue sunray-finished dial, along with rhodium-plated hands and appliqués.

The highlight of this watch is the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, made up of 56 parts and also weighing just 0.635 grams. Thanks to an integrated stop function, the wearer can halt the tourbillon to set the time precisely to the second.
It is powered by the IWC calibre 82905, which features the brand’s proprietary Pellaton winding system and Diamond Shell technology for reduced friction and enhanced efficiency. The movement runs at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers an 80-hour power reserve. Like its larger sibling, the rotor features the Little Prince standing on his asteroid. This model comes with a brown calfskin strap and a platinum folding clasp, and is limited to 150 pieces, priced at EUR 96,000, approximately AED 398,500.
