A Separate Bezel and Multiple Updates Redefine the Iconic Timepiece
Since 1992, the Cintrée Curvex has stood as Franck Muller’s most iconic silhouette. With its perfectly arched case and distinctive contours, paired with its instantly recognizable numeral design, the Cintrée Curvex has become one of the most celebrated case and dial combinations in modern watchmaking.
Today, Franck Muller presents a refreshed interpretation that fully accentuates the Cintrée Curvex’s timeless lines, elevating its signature form with a contemporary edge. The new design introduces a sophisticated two-tone aesthetic and debuts an entirely new guilloché pattern on the dial.
The redesigned case features a sapphire crystal that extends seamlessly to the integrated bracelet, offering enhanced visibility of the dial. A separate, ultra-slim bezel enables refined two-tone treatments, available in both gold and stainless steel versions. Measuring 40.15 mm in diameter and 10.50 mm in thickness, the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.

This “invisible” bezel construction is a technical achievement in itself, minimizing visual barriers and giving new life to the classic form. The strap is fully integrated into the case, ensuring a comfortable fit on the wrist. As a subtle yet elegant detail, all editions feature a rose gold crown.
The dial is available in four variations, blue or black with golden numerals, and white dial with gold or black numerals. A new guilloché pattern specially developed for the Curvex CX, draws inspiration from a twisted Clous de Paris motif. This intricate design creates a sense of dynamic movement on the dial.
Three-dimensional pyramids radiate from the center outward, catching light in mesmerizing ways as they increase in size toward the periphery. Oversized applied Arabic numerals and white luminescent-coated hands complete the display.
Inside, the watch is powered by the FM 2536-SC caliber, a reliable in-house automatic movement with bi-directional winding, the moevment beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and a 42-hour power reserve. This movement has also featured in previous Curvex models, including the recent limited-edition Curvex Ryoko Kaneta Dragon.

Each piece is fitted with hand-sewn alligator leather straps and a pin buckle. All models come with a black strap, except the blue dial version, which is paired with a matching blue strap. Pricing is available upon request.
