Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing The New Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Automatic in Black DLC Titanium

A bold release with a bold black aesthetics

Over the past decade, the Octo Finissimo has become one of Bvlgari’s strongest signatures, redefining ultra-thin watchmaking through a seamless fusion of Italian aesthetics and Swiss precision. Known for its architectural geometry and record-breaking slimness, like the World's Thinnest Tourbillon. The latest addition, the Octo Finissimo Automatic in Black DLC Titanium, amplifies this identity with a bold black look.

The watch comes in a titanium case finished with a deep black DLC coating, retaining the sharp facets and multi-layered geometry that have made the Octo Finissimo instantly recognizable. Measuring 40 mm in diameter and an extraordinary 5 mm in thickness, the case is a showcase of proportions and engineering. Sapphire crystals front and back provide clarity and lightness, while the crown is rendered in DLC-coated titanium with a black ceramic insert. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.

True to its name, this edition embraces a complete black-on-black aesthetic. The matte dial contrasts subtly with glossy black hands, markers, numerals, and tracks, creating a uniform yet richly textured design that emphasizes minimalism with depth.

Inside beats Bvlgari’s in-house calibre BVL 138, one of the thinnest automatic movements ever made at just 2.23 mm thick. Equipped with a platinum micro-rotor, it beats at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a 60-hour power reserve. Despite its ultra-thin profile, the movement is richly decorated with Côtes de Genève, chamfering, and perlage, all visible through the sapphire caseback.

In a departure from the traditional integrated titanium bracelet, this model is fitted with a black rubber strap featuring a textured finish that evokes woven fabric. It is secured by a black DLC-coated titanium pin buckle. The watch joins the permanent Octo Finissimo collection, and is priced at CHF 14,500, equivalent to AED 59,000.
