Introducing Seiko Unveils the Presage Cocktail Time SRPL96J “The Conte”
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition in collaboration with Conte Sydney Negroni bar
Among Seiko's many collections, the Presage Cocktail Time has stood out since its debut in 2010, drawing inspiration from the art of mixology with releases such as the STAR BAR Editions and the Diamond Cocktail Time Frozen Series.
This year, the brand introduces the Presage Cocktail Time SRPL96J “The Conte,” continuing the legacy with a distinctive Australasian exclusive edition as Seiko pays tribute to one of the world’s most iconic drinks, the Negroni. The model was created in collaboration with Conte Sydney, the city’s first dedicated Negroni bar.
The watch is presented in a rose gold PVD-coated stainless steel case measuring 40.5 mm in diameter, 11.8 mm in thickness, and 47.5 mm lug to lug. Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition caseback engraved with “Limited Edition” and its individual serial number. The case offers 50 meters of water resistance.
The dial comes in a rich Negroni red that shifts in tone under varying light. Its guilloché-style texture recalls the intricate patterns of cocktail glassware, while slender indices and dauphine-style hands complete the refined layout. A discreet date window is placed at 3 o’clock.
Inside beats the in-house Calibre 4R35, an automatic movement operating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch is paired with a brown leather strap secured by a folding clasp. Exclusively available in Australia and New Zealand, this edition is limited to 1,000 individually numbered pieces. It is priced at $950, approximately AED 3,500.
