The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Introducing The New Brellum Duobox Triple Calendar Moonphase with a Salmon Dial

A limited edition available in steel or titanium

Brellum is an independent Swiss brand established in 2016, focusing on producing high-quality, limited-production mechanical watches that combine classic design with modern functionality. The brand is particularly known for its COSC-certified chronometers, which emphasize precision and reliability.

One of its most famous collections is the Duobox Triple Calendar Moonphase, which showcases classic chronograph watches with a full calendar at an accessible price. This year, the brand is expanding this collection with a new salmon variant available in both stainless steel and titanium case options.

The watch features a 41.8mm diameter case with a thickness of 15.9mm, a box-style sapphire crystal, and is available in two materials: stainless steel (weighing 90 grams) and titanium (with a steel bezel, weighing 72 grams). The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal case back, offering a glimpse of the beautifully decorated movement, and ensures 100m of water resistance on both variants.

The salmon dial features a sunburst pattern, with applied Roman numerals marking the hours, and a pointer date with numbers surrounding the dial. The dial showcases a moon phase display at 6 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 12 o’clock, along with day and month indicators, and a day/night indicator with small seconds at 9 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the Brellum Calibre BR-751, based on the renowned Valjoux 7751. This automatic movement is COSC-certified and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), delivering a 46-hour power reserve. The movement is beautifully finished with Côtes de Genève, Perlage, and blue screws, all visible through the exhibition case back. The rotor is uniquely decorated, inspired by the moon, and is individually numbered from 01/33 to 33/33.

The timepiece is paired with a handmade black leather strap, offering both comfort and style. The strap is equipped with a deployant clasp, crafted in either stainless steel or titanium, matching the case material. The watch is limited to 33 pieces and is priced at CHF 3,690 ≈ AED 16,400 for the stainless steel version and CHF 3,890 ≈ AED 17,300 for the titanium version.
