Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing The Laurent Ferrier Classic Tourbillon Teal Série Atelier VII

A 5 piece limited edition to celebrate the brand’s 15 anniversary

Laurent Ferrier was established in Geneva in 2009, following its founder’s decades-long career at Patek Philippe. The independent maison quickly made its mark with the Classic Tourbillon, which won the prestigious Men’s Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2010. Most recently, in 2024, it was awarded the Calendar and Astronomy Watch Prize for the Classic Moon Silver.

This year marks the brand’s 15th anniversary, and to celebrate, it is unveiling the Classic Tourbillon Teal – Série Atelier VII, presented as part of its participation in Geneva Watch Days 2025, following the sixth edition released last year.

The watch is housed in the “Classic” collection case, whose smooth contours are inspired by 19th-century pocket watches. Crafted for the first time in 950 platinum, the case measures 41 mm in diameter and 12.50 mm in thickness, and is paired with the brand’s distinctive ball-shaped crown. Both front and back feature domed sapphire crystals, while water resistance is rated at 30 meters.

The dial is adorned with teal grand feu enamel on an 18k white gold base, blending subtle shades of green and blue. Roman numerals in bright white enamel define the hour circle, while a railroad minute track and the brand’s logo appear in delicate sky-blue enamel. At 6 o’clock, a small seconds counter is framed by a beveled, mirror-polished white gold flange. Completing the composition are white gold Assegai-shaped hands for the hours and minutes, along with a baton-shaped hand for the seconds.

Powering the watch is the hand-wound Calibre LF619.01, equipped with a double balance-spring tourbillon. Unlike conventional tourbillons, this one remains discreet, visible only through the caseback. The movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 80 hours. It is finished with horizontally brushed bridges treated with ruthenium, contrasting beautifully with rhodium-plated components.

The watch is fitted with a hand-stitched forest-green alligator leather strap, lined with Alcantara for comfort. It is secured by either a platinum pin buckle or a double-blade folding clasp. This edition is limited to just five individually numbered pieces and is priced at CHF 195,000, approximately AED 893,000.
