The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Speake Marin Unveils The Ripples Infinity Date

A new metallic silver dial for the independent brand’s sport-chic collection

Introduced for the first time in 2022, the RIPPLES collection represents Speake Marin's inaugural venture into the realm of sport-chic timepieces, all crafted from stainless steel. The RIPPLES collection distinguishes itself with its "La City" case, designed by Stéphane Lacroix, who drew inspiration from the architectural landscape of London's renowned financial district, a nod to the brand's proud British heritage. The distinctive dial decoration, comprising 12 three-dimensional horizontal "ripples" after which the collection is named, adds a contemporary flair to the ensemble, as seen in the Metallic Green model during DWW 2023.

On the occasion of Watches and Wonders 2024, Speake Marin presents the newest addition to the RIPPLES collection, the "Ripples Infinity Date." This latest iteration showcases a beautiful metallic silver dial, further enriching the collection's allure.

The case of the “Ripples Infinity Date” remains faithful to the collection’s dimensions, measuring 40.3mm in diameter and 9.2mm in thickness. Constructed from stainless steel, the iconic "La City" case features a brushed finish with polished accents. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating, ensuring optimal visibility and durability. With a screw-down crown bearing the engraved logo and a screw-down case back, the watch boasts water resistance up to 50 meters.

The brass dial features a metallic rhodium-plated color adorned with the iconic Ripples' pattern. The dial includes a silver-white sunray-finished small seconds subdial at 1:30, with rhodium-plated heart-shaped hands and baton indices, while a date window with a black disk is positioned at 6 o'clock.

Through the sapphire case back, you can spot the caliber SMA03-TD, an in-house automatic movement that features an integrated micro-rotor, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), and offering 52 hours of power reserve. The watch comes with an integrated three-row stainless steel bracelet, paired with a stainless steel folding clasp, priced at CHF 23,900 which is equivalent to AED 98,000.
