The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Seiko Expands the Presage Cocktail Time Collection

Dials That Celebrate Summer in the City of Tokyo

Seiko continues to expand its Presage collection with elegant additions to the Cocktail Time series, unveiling new small-sized watches with cases under 36 mm in diameter. These timepieces feature eye-catching designs and colors that celebrate the spirit of summer in Japan.

The new models draw inspiration from the cocktail culture of Tokyo’s famous Ginza district, known as a favorite destination for refreshing drinks during the summer months. The three models are named "Aijiro" (light sky blue), "Fushi-iro" (light brown), and "Shiro-iro" (white), with each name reflecting the character of a different summer cocktail. The trio features a polished stainless steel case that exudes classic charm, complemented by a slim bezel that enhances the refined profile. Measuring 34 mm in diameter and 10.7 mm in height, the case is topped with a box-shaped Hardlex crystal, lending vintage appeal and everyday durability.

With a water resistance of 50 meters, the watches are well-equipped for daily wear and occasional splashes. While all three share the same case design, the Shiro-iro edition distinguishes itself with a gold PVD-coated crown that echoes the warm tones of its two-tone bracelet.

Drawing cues from iced cocktails, each dial is adorned with a crushed-ice texture and four diamond indices, reinforcing the connection to the world of refreshing summer drinks. A rounded date window sits between 4 and 5 o’clock, finished in white to harmonize with the overall color palette of each model.

“Frozen Skydiving” is presented in a light blue dial inspired by a cocktail made with blue curaçao and lime juice. “Frozen Mojito” features a pale green dial, reminiscent of mixologist Kishi’s take on the classic mint-infused beverage. The “Frozen Daiquiri” takes its cues from the Frozen Banana Daiquiri—a blend of banana liqueur, brown sugar, lime juice, and frozen bananas. This variant stands out with gold-tone hands, indices, and bracelet links that mirror the dial’s golden hue.

Powering the collection is Seiko’s in-house 4R35 automatic movement, a reliable entry-level calibre operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz). It delivers a 40-hour power reserve and offers an accuracy rating of +45/-35 seconds per day.

Each model is paired with a vintage-inspired seven-link bracelet that nods to the style of the 1970s. The Shiro-iro edition further elevates its aesthetic with gold PVD accents, a subtle tribute to the luxurious texture of silk. The watches are priced at GBP 540, or approximately AED 2,630.
