The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

News Richemont Appoints New Leaders for Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin

The Second Major Executive Overhaul This Year, Set to Take Effect in Early 2025

Richemont has unveiled another wave of leadership changes within its prestigious portfolio of watchmaking brands. Effective January 1, 2025, Jérôme Lambert will assume the role of CEO at Jaeger-LeCoultre, while Laurent Perves will take the helm at Vacheron Constantin.

These appointments follow earlier announcements made this year, including Louis Ferla's designation as the new CEO of Cartier and Catherine Rénier's transition from leading Vacheron Constantin and previously Jaeger-LeCoultre to heading Van Cleef & Arpels. Additionally, in September, Montblanc, another brand under Richemont, appointed Giorgio Sarné as its CEO.

Laurent Perves, who brings over two decades of experience in the luxury and watchmaking industries, has been instrumental in Vacheron Constantin’s ascent as a leader in haute horlogerie. Since joining the Maison in 2016, Perves has held key roles, first as Chief Marketing Officer and later as Chief Commercial Officer from 2021. His tenure has been marked by significant commercial achievements and the reinforcement of the brand’s legacy in fine watchmaking.

Perves began his career at the LVMH group before transitioning to the watchmaking sector in 2014 as Head of Brand Communication for Audemars Piguet.

Jérôme Lambert’s return to Jaeger-LeCoultre marks a homecoming to the brand where he previously served as CEO from 2002 to 2013. Following his tenure at Jaeger-LeCoultre, Lambert led Montblanc as CEO before advancing to Richemont Group’s Chief Executive Officer position from September 2018 to May 2024. Most recently, he served as Richemont’s Chief Operating Officer starting in June 2024, a role now held by Nicolas Bos.
