Ready for Takeoff: A Flight into Innovation Inspired by the P-51 Mustang Aircraft
RESERVOIR has distinguished itself from its inception in watchmaking by drawing inspiration from three fundamental forces: air, earth and water. RESERVOIR made a big impact with its distinctive approach to watch mechanisms, retro hands, and unique touches. The Air Fight collection takes its inspiration from aircraft and revolves around the black color found in the controls inside the aircraft. The latest model in the collection, the Reservoir Air Fight Chronograph, takes us on a journey across the horizon, in homage to the iconic Mustang P-51 Air-craft .

The timepiece is covered with a Domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal and encased in a 43 mm steel or black PVD case on a black leather, and surrounded by a bezel with a telemeter scale, and 22 mm of Lug width, with Water resistant up to 50m. RESERVOIR draws inspiration from P-51 controls for the external elements, including the crown, which resembles the knurled knobs, Offering the operator's hand the utmost comfort, secure grip.
The All black dial on the Air-fight Chronograph is filled with aircraft-inspired details. Enthusiasts will notice the iconic black hours and minutes hands with white luminous triangle and covered with Superluminova, the dial features green, orange, and black sectors indicating normal, danger, and prohibited status resembling the P-51's instrument panel indicators.
The dial is divided into three distinct parts, a large central seconds display, a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, and an hour counter at 6 o'clock. This vertical layout along a single axis allows for easy readability. The markings are thoughtfully designed on the left side of the dial, with the minutes displayed from 0 to 30 and the hours marked in 12-hour increments. On the right side of the dial, there is a second segment graduated from 1 to 31, indicating the date with a retrograde display. The first day of the month is positioned at the bottom, while the last day is at the top.

RESERVOIR has developed an in-house complication within the RSV-Bi120 Caliber column, an automatic winding bi-retrograde manufacture chronograph that boasts a 60-hour power reserve. This unique movement powers the retrograde seconds display and the retrograde date indicator, and can be viewed through the sapphire caseback.
