The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Story Philippe Dufour Wearing The World is Yours From Jacob & Co

The Dufour and Jacobs families are among the most prominent names in the world of fine watchmaking. Today's story is something that reflects how much passion and love for everything that is special about watchmaking, and seeing top watchmakers bounce back from other companies underscores the deep respect and admiration they have for the craft.

The tale of this watch commences several months ago when Daniela Dufour, daughter of the renowned master watchmaker, obtained the Jacob & Co timepiece, "The World is Yours," as a gift for her father. Enthralled by its origins, Daniela was drawn to the story behind the creation of the watch, crafted collaboratively by Jacob and his son Benjamin.

Indeed, the "The World Is Yours" Dual Time Zone bears a profoundly special narrative, embodying heritage, familial lineage, and the artistry of watchmaking within the Arabov family. Inspired by a dual time zone watch gifted to Jacob by his father, Nison Arabov, at the age of 13, "The World is Yours" Dual Time Zone represents the pivotal timepiece that opened the realms of the world and watchmaking to Jacob Arabov. It stands as a tribute to the enduring legacy of the Arabov family, igniting in Jacob the ambition and determination to craft his own timepieces. This initial spark has since guided all Jacob & Co. watches, remaining within the family and awaiting stewardship by future generations.
