Tre Giorni and Chrono Flyback Titanio Celebrate Italy’s First Time Hosting the America’s Cup
Panerai, in its longstanding partnership with the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team, unveils two new editions ahead of the 38th America’s Cup, which will be held in the beautiful Italian coastal city of Naples. This marks the first time the main event of the America’s Cup, will be hosted in Italy.
The two new timepieces underscore performance-driven engineering and Panerai’s unmistakable design language: the Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa PAM01654 and the Luminor Luna Rossa PAM01653. These models continue a collaboration that began in 2019, when Panerai became the official timekeeper for the prestigious sailing team. They follow a lineage of previous Luna Rossa editions, renowned for their use of advanced materials, technical sophistication, and bold aesthetics, as seen in the recent trio introduced at Watches and Wonders.
Panerai Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa Titanio
The Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa PAM01654 is housed in a 44mm case crafted from Grade 5 titanium, featuring brushed surfaces that give the watch a refined matte finish.
The signature Luminor crown guard reinforces its bold identity, while the chronograph pushers are uniquely positioned at 8 and 10 o’clock, a departure from their traditional location flanking the crown. These red-accented pushers on the left side complement the red-painted chronograph hands.
Sapphire crystals on both the front and back offer durability and a clear view of the movement, while water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
The matte grey dial showcases Panerai’s iconic sandwich construction, paired with white Super-LumiNova X1-filled indices and hands, as well as vivid red chronograph accents. A central red chronograph seconds hand and a jumping minutes counter lend precision and visual dynamism. Subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock display the chronograph hour counter and running seconds, respectively. A nautical tachymeter scale is printed on the inclined inner flange, adding a final functional touch.
Powering the Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa Titanio is the Panerai P.9100 automatic caliber, a sophisticated flyback chronograph movement equipped with a vertical clutch and column wheel. It offers a three-day power reserve via twin barrels and beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour).
Both watches come with black rubber straps and grey textile straps featuring a Luna Rossa red stripe. They are fitted with Grade 2 titanium buckles and include an additional black rubber strap.
The Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa Titanio is a limited edition of 150 pieces,
priced at EUR 15,900, approximately equivalent to AED 67,720.

Panerai Luminor Tre Giorni Luna Rossa
This time-only watch is housed in a 44mm case crafted from AISI 316LVM stainless steel, a premium alloy that is remelted for enhanced purity and superior corrosion resistance. While it uses a different material than the previous titanium version, the design remains identical. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and features a stainless steel case back.
The grey dial retains Panerai’s signature sandwich construction and is enhanced with white Super-LumiNova-filled indices and hands. The Luna Rossa logo sits at 6 o’clock, while a red-coloured running seconds hand adds a dynamic touch to the subdial at 9 o’clock.
Powering the Luminor Tre Giorni Luna Rossa is the manually wound calibre P.6000. It offers a 72-hour power reserve, hence the name Tre Giorni (Italian for “three days”), from a single barrel. The movement beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz) and features a stop-seconds mechanism for precise time setting.
This is not a limited edition and its priced at EUR 6,700 which is approximately equivalent to AED 28,565.
