Introducing Oris Unveils the Aquis Taste of Summer ‘Berries Edition’

Two New Dials Inspired by the Swiss Summer Join the Capsule Collection

As summer approaches, Oris once again celebrates the season with vibrant timepieces. This year, the brand introduces two new additions to the Aquis Date collection, each in a different size and dial color, inspired by the warmth and hues of summer. These new models continue the design evolution seen in last year’s summer editions, which featured cheerful tones inspired by the season’s favorite fruit: the watermelon.

For 2025, Oris draws inspiration from the vivid contrasts of a Swiss summer, when lush greenery and floral scents replace snow-capped peaks, and daylight lingers late into the evening. These fleeting yet memorable moments are captured in the collection’s two new models:

A 36.5 mm version with a red-to-pink gradient dial, evoking the gentle glow of sunrise.

A 43.5 mm edition with a violet dial, reminiscent of midsummer twilight.

Both watches are housed in multi-part stainless steel cases, measuring 36.5 mm x 11.95 mm and 43.5 mm x 13.1 mm respectively, with short, ergonomic lugs for a comfortable fit. Each features a unidirectional rotating bezel, ceramic on the smaller model and tungsten on the larger. The bezels also differ in design: the 36.5 mm version omits the 15-minute segment markers and 10-minute numerals found on the larger watch.

A double-domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down caseback is fitted with a mineral crystal. A prominent crown guard adds to the sporty silhouette, and both models offer water resistance to 300 meters.

The smaller Aquis Date features a striking red-to-pink gradient dial, while the larger model is graced with a rich violet tone. Both dials are adorned with applied, pointed shield-shaped hour markers and Alpha-style hands, all treated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility in low light. The central seconds hand features a luminous lollipop tip. Notably, the date disc matches the dial color: white for the red-pink model, and black for the violet edition.

Powering both models is the Oris Calibre 733, based on the reliable Sellita SW200-1. Visible through the transparent caseback, the automatic movement offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vph).

Each watch is paired with an integrated-style stainless steel bracelet. The 43.5 mm version includes an extension system for added versatility. Both models are part of the permanent Oris collection and are priced at CHF 2,400, approximately AED 9,700
