A hue inspired by the forests surrounding the brand’s factory in the Swiss village of Hölstein
Oris is renowned for its precision and craftsmanship, and one of its icons is the Divers Sixty-Five, a collection inspired by Oris's first dive watch that laid the foundation for its future dive watch collections. This year, the brand celebrated its 120th anniversary, and to mark this milestone, Oris released the Hölstein Edition 2024, featuring a sleek black-on-black aesthetic. Additionally, the brand recently introduced the first Divers Sixty-Five Calibre 400 in a 38mm case with no date.
Now, Oris is releasing the Divers Sixty-Five 40 mm, a new timepiece with green hues inspired by the dense forests that surround the brand’s factory in the Swiss village of Hölstein. The watch comes in a stainless steel case that is both brushed and polished, measuring 40mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness.
It features a uni-directional rotating bezel with a green aluminum insert and a 60-minute scale. The dial is protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal that has an anti-reflective coating on the inside.
The dial features a graduated green hue with applied indices and a date window at 6 o’clock. Both the indices and hands are coated in SuperLumiNova for enhanced luminosity in low-light conditions. The watch is powered by the Oris 733 caliber, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), and offers 41 hours of power reserve.
The new Divers Sixty-Five 40mm comes with a multi-piece stainless steel bracelet and a folding clasp. It joins the permanent collection at a price of CHF 2,450, equivalent to AED 10,000.
