The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Nivada Grenchen Unveils the New F77 in Black Ceramic

Three Distinctive Dial Options: Lapis Lazuli, Meteorite, and Tressé Designs

During Watches and Wonders, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Trestan, who introduced us to the highlights of the Nivada Grenchen and its famous F77 collection. At that time, the collection was presented in titanium for the first time.

Now, the Swiss company has unveiled a trio of F77 watches in matte black ceramic, featuring three distinctive dial options.

One of these is the Braided Dial, a permanent addition to the brand's lineup, inspired by the intricate texture of a basketball hoop's netting. The other two dials are crafted from rare natural stones: blue lapis lazuli and black meteorite. Both of these are limited editions available exclusively this month.

All three models share a 37 mm matte black ceramic case with a thickness of 12.6 mm. The case combines brushed and polished finishes and is complemented by a raised octagonal bezel. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a screw-down stainless steel caseback safeguards the movement. With a screw-down crown, the watches are water-resistant to 100 meters, combining practicality with style.

The dials showcase exceptional craftsmanship. The meteorite dial features geometric metallic patterns and textured effects, making each piece truly one of a kind.

The lapis lazuli dial, crafted from deep blue ornamental stone, exudes timeless brilliance and natural beauty, perfectly offsetting the matte ceramic case.

The black braided dial, inspired by vintage textures, balances boldness with refinement, evoking the modern sophistication of carbon fiber.

All three dials share the same design language, with baton hands coated in Super-LumiNova and polished silver applied hour indices. This ensures excellent legibility and a cohesive look across the collection.

Like all watches in the F77 Automatic collection, this trio is powered by the Soprod P024 movement. This automatic caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and offers a power reserve of 38 hours.

The watches are paired with a black ceramic bracelet, secured with a deployant buckle. The braided dial edition will join the permanent collection, while the lapis lazuli and meteorite dials are limited editions available only for this month.

The black braided dial is priced at USD 1,450, or AED 5,350. The lapis lazuli and meteorite dials are priced at USD 1,650, or AED 6,000.
