A new violet hue that unveils a futuristic aesthetic
The One & Two Openworked stands as an iconic collection from the independent brand Speake-Marin, the collection is known for its craftsmanship and openworked design, which highlights the intricate details of their movements. In 2020, Speake-Marin expanded its One & Two Openworked collection with the introduction of a flying tourbillon model. Since its initial release, the brand has consistently revealed new variations, each produced in limited Editions. During W&W2024, the brand presents the Openworked Tourbillon Ultra-Violet, featuring a vibrant violet hue.
The timepiece features the renowned Piccadilly case, offered in sizes of both 38mm and 42mm. Constructed from grade 5 titanium, the case seamlessly combines brushed and polished finishes. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, while the screw-down transparent case back provides a glimpse into the intricate inner mechanisms. Both variants maintain a thickness of 12.35mm and provide water resistance of up to 30 meters.
The openworked dial reveals a PVD-coated ultra-violet grid, giving the watch a futuristic aesthetic. The 60 minute flying tourbillon is positioned at 1:30, and showcases a rhodium-plated bridge. Adjacent to it, at 10 o’clock, the barrel cover is intricately engraved with the inscription “One & Two Openworked – Flying Tourbillon,” adding a creative touch. The off-center tungsten micro-rotor is positioned at 5 o’clock, embellished with a laser-engraved concentric circle pattern. The power reserve indicator is positioned at 7:30, featuring a triangular pointer treated with Super-LumiNova for improved visibility. The rhodium-plated Speake-Marin shaped hands at the center, treated with luminescent material emitting a blue glow, ensure easy readability even in dim lighting.

The timepiece is powered by an in-house manufactured automatic movement, the caliber SMA05, operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz), and offering 72 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Each watch is accompanied by a black rubber strap fastened with a titanium pin buckle.
