The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Ludovic Ballouard collaborated with CLÉ and introduces The Upside Down - Saudi Collectors Edition

A platinum case paired with a green meteorite dial, resonating with the ethereal beauty of paradise

Ludovic Ballouard is a notable independent watchmaker known for his creative and innovative approach to horology. He is known for his "Upside Down" watch, which features a distinctive way of displaying the time. This complication involves a rotating disc with numbers that appear upside down, except for the present hour which is displayed right side up along with a dot and a hand for the minutes, and some models include a small seconds subdial.

This year, Ludovic Ballouard has collaborated with CLÉ, the bridge connecting Arab collectors with the world's most prestigious watch brands. They introduce "The Upside Down - Saudi Collectors Edition”, a limited edition of 7 pieces for Saudi Arabia. The case of the "Upside Down" Saudi Collectors Edition is crafted from platinum, a material synonymous with luxury and durability, Its 41mm diameter and 11mm thickness strike a balance between elegance and sophistication.

The dial of this timepiece is adorned with green meteorite, a material that not only exudes a sense of cosmic wonder but also adds a unique texture to the watch. The watch is characterized by a minute hand, and Eastern Arabic numerals that further enhance its aesthetic appeal, paying homage to the rich cultural heritage of the Arabic region.

Every aspect about this watch serves a meaningful purpose, from the platinum case that represents luxury, to the green dial that signifies the green hue in Islam where it represents the beautiful paradise, even the number of limited pieces, synonymous with the seven heavens.

At the heart of the watch lies the in-house manual winding caliber b01. This patented Upside Down complication is a testament to Ludovic Ballouard's ingenuity. The movement consists of 228 components and boasts a power reserve of 36 hours, and it operates at a balance frequency of 21,600vph.
