The Summit Collection: A Strong First Step for New Brand Earthen

Earthen Company is one of the freshest names to enter the watch market, founded in Hong Kong in 2025 by a group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts. Co-founder Jonathan Chan, also a key figure behind The Horology Club, explains that the team approached this project as collectors first, not as traditional watchmakers.

The result is a debut that doesn’t chase trends but instead offers something unique, a series of ceramic, field- and pilot-inspired watches at an accessible price point. With the launch of the Summit Collection, it’s clear Earthen intends to make an impression from day one.

Introducing Jaeger-LeCoultre Unveils New Version of the Master Ultra Thin Date Watch in a Fresh Color

Grey-Blue Dial Shine With A Sunray Pattern

Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the world’s most renowned luxury watchmakers, with a history spanning over 190 years. Founded in the heart of Le Sentier, the brand is celebrated for its watchmaking, which elegantly combines precision engineering and art. Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to create timepieces characterized by exceptional craftsmanship and advanced technologies, including the “Master Ultra Thin Date Blue Grey”, which the brand presents today as its latest release. This piece is inspired by the Maison’s remarkable heritage of ultra-thin watches.

The steel case of this timepiece measures 39mm in diameter while maintaining an elegant thickness of just 7.8mm, showcasing a polished finish. The slightly rounded lugs add to its refined aesthetic. With water resistance up to 50 meters, it combines functionality with style, further protected by a durable sapphire crystal on both the dial and case back. Completing the design is a decorative crown, beautifully engraved with the company logo, emphasizing the attention to detail that defines this watch.

The Master Ultra Thin Date features a sunray dial in a newly crafted blue and grey hue. The dial’s design exemplifies meticulous symmetry and balance, with the date window positioned at 6 o’clock. The elongated trapezoid indexes are harmoniously complemented by the Dauphine hands, which showcase a captivating interplay of light through their satin-brushed and polished finishes. Additionally, a minute track encircles the edges of the dial.

It's powered by the Calibre 899, an in-house automatic movement that exemplifies Jaeger-LeCoultre's dedication to precision and quality. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), this movement offers a power reserve of 38 hours. Each watch undergoes the stringent “1,000 Hour Control” testing, ensuring exceptional reliability that surpasses standard chronometric certifications. Visually, the Calibre 899 is adorned with Côtes de Genève, bevelled edges, and blued screws, and gold rotor combining aesthetic appeal.

The watch comes with a black alligator strap and a folding buckle. It's priced at USD 9,550, which is equivalent to AED 35,000.
