The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Jaeger-LeCoultre Introduces the New Reverso Tribute Chronograph

Limited edition in rose gold, combining polo-inspired functionality with Art Deco style

Born in 1931 with a protective swiveling case designed for the polo fields, the Reverso quickly won over tastemakers from all walks of life, drawn to its elegant yet sporty Art Deco aesthetic. Over more than 90 years, the Reverso’s design has evolved from the original Staybrite steel case to precious metals, with the blank metal flip side offering a canvas for engraving, lacquerenamel, or gemstones or transformed into a second dial. This continual reinvention without compromising its identity has made the Reverso one of the world’s most recognizable wristwatches, an icon of 20th-century design.

In tribute to its polo heritage, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the new Reverso Tribute Chronograph, an homage to the 1996 Reverso Chronograph, displaying time on both the front and reverse dials and revealing the finely crafted chronograph mechanism on the reverse side. The case is made of 18K pink gold (750/1000) and is protected by sapphire crystal on both the front and back, offering a view of the chronograph functions. It measures 49.4 x 29.9 mm, with a height of 11.14 mm.

The front dial introduces a new decorative style to the Reverso Tribute line. The pink gold surface is laser-engraved with fine horizontal lines, adding a modern elegance that emphasizes the rectilinear geometry of the Reverso case. Signature design elements, applied trapezoid indexes, Dauphine hands, and a chemin de fer minutes track stand out against this refined background, with the minutes track highlighted in black for contrast.

On the reverse, the open-worked dial reveals the intricately crafted chronograph mechanism. The 18k (750/1000) pink gold bridges feature hand-beveled edges and vertical Côtes de Genève decoration, crafted entirely within the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture in Le Sentier. The black accents on the counters and chronograph tracks enhance readability, while blued chronograph hands and blued screws add a touch of color. Polished pink gold indexes appear to float above the movement, attached invisibly to the minute track.

The hand-wound Calibre 860 is an integrated chronograph movement with start/stop and reset pushers, a retrograde 30-minute counter, central seconds, and dual time displays. The rectangular calibre was specifically shaped to fit the Reverso case, ensuring a harmonious dial layout. The upper dial displays the chronograph seconds, while the retrograde 30-minute indicator arcs across the lower section.

Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, Calibre 860 incorporates a column wheel chronograph with a horizontal clutch to reduce movement thickness. This movement powers two sets of hands that run in opposite directions to display time correctly on both faces of the watch. Calibre 860 offers a 52-hour power reserve, balancing the energy needs of the retrograde chronograph with two time displays, all within an 11.14 mm-thick case.

Each watch is presented with two straps—a Casa Fagliano tan calf leather strap that connects the Reverso to its polo origins, adding sporty sophistication, and a classic black alligator strap. Both straps feature a Presto quick-release system and an interchangeable buckle in 18K pink gold. Limited to 250 pieces, this special edition of the Reverso Tribute Chronograph celebrates its 2024 release with a full pink gold version, including a solid pink gold dial, movement bridges, applied indexes, and pin buckle. Pricing is available upon request.
