The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

The Beta Collection from Doxa is a series of premium diving watches known for their exceptional craftsmanship and unique design. At the previous Geneva Watch days, a very important edition of Doxa was unveiled, the Sub 300β Shark Hunter, in a captivating black and gold combination. Now, on the occasion of Dubai Watch Week 2023, and in partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the “Beta” collection has expanded with a limited edition timepiece, as Doxa presents the “Sub 300β Seddiqi”, which features a blue natural mother of pearl dial for the first time.

The watch comes in a brushed and polished stainless steel case, with dimensions identical to the Shark hunter measuring 42.50mm in width, 44.50mm in length, and 11.95mm in height, with a unidirectional bezel in black ceramic, a midnight blue ceramic insert and a white & black double-scale insert. Designed for underwater adventures, this dive watch is water-resistant to an impressive 300 meters, ensuring it can withstand the most challenging conditions of the sea. Additionally, the screw-down crown is adorned with the iconic black Doxa fish logo.

The standout feature of the "Sub 300β Seddiqi" is its beautiful deep blue mother of pearl dial. This natural material adds a unique quality to the watch, evoking the depths of the ocean. The dial features oversized applied indices and hands, both coated with Super-LumiNova, guarantee readability even in low-light conditions, and a date window at 3 o'clock.

The timepiece is powered by a Swiss mechanical automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). It comes with a stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet that provides a classic and robust look, while the package also includes an additional white FKM rubber strap for more casual occasions. The folding clasp with a ratcheting diver's extension on both straps ensures a secure fit in any environment. Limited to only 50 pieces, with a price of AED 11,750.
