The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing HYT Unveils Three New Additions to the T1 Series

New elegant and beautiful autumn inspired releases

HYT is a Swiss independent watchmaker renowned for its groundbreaking use of fluidic technology in timekeeping, and stands apart in the world of horology. Instead of traditional hands or digital displays, HYT timepieces rely on fluid dynamics to indicate time, imparting a distinctly futuristic and avant-garde appearance to their watches.

This year marks the brand's 12th anniversary, and to celebrate, HYT introduced the T1 SERIES, a fresh collection that features a smaller case size and a new design, complemented by an expanded color spectrum. In line with this milestone, and on the occasion of Geneva Watch Days 2024, HYT is launching three new additions to the T1 Series under the name Millésime editions, available in striking purple, green, and chocolate hues.

Like their predecessors, the new trio in the Millésime editions features a 45mm case diameter with a thickness of 17.2mm, and still are the smallest-sized releases among HYT's collections. The green and purple editions are housed in titanium cases, while the chocolate model is distinguished by an 18k rose gold case. All three versions incorporate black DLC titanium details on the case sides, including a screw-down titanium crown positioned at 2 o'clock, and the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating that ensures clear visibility of the dial.

The vertically brushed dial features hour markers around the outer edge, while the inner minute scale is a glass tube filled with liquid—red for the chocolate and green variants, and black for the purple variant. A single center hand, coated with Super-LumiNova, indicates the minutes. Additionally, the dial includes a power reserve indicator positioned at 2:30.

Beneath the sapphire crystal caseback resides the Caliber 501-CM, a hand-wound movement featuring a pair of bellows that drive the liquid through the glass capillary tubes. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and provides a power reserve of 72 hours.

The watch comes with a rubber strap matching the dial color, paired with a titanium or gold and titanium pin buckle, along with an additional black rubber strap. These timepieces are limited in availability—exclusively offered from September 2024 to April 2025—priced at CHF 50,000/AED 216,000 for the Green and Purple editions, and CHF 66,000/AED 285,000 for the Chocolate edition.
