Two New Special Editions of the Classic Fusion in Titanium
Hublot and its UAE partner, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, collaborate again to unveil two new UAE-exclusive timepieces: the Classic Fusion Chronograph United Arab Emirates and the Classic Fusion United Arab Emirates. Inspired by the mesmerizing hues of the UAE’s pristine seas, these limited-edition watches evoke the shimmering interplay of sunlight on water, paying homage to the nation's coastal beauty.
Hublot and Seddiqi’s partnership is based on honoring the country and its beautiful corners. Previously, both companies celebrated the sands of Abu Dhabi with two limited editions showcasing the desert’s sand colors. Now, they shift their focus to the UAE’s blue seas.
The collection introduces two remarkable models, both crafted in titanium. The first is a 45 mm edition, while the second is a smaller ladies’ version, sized at 33 mm. The ladies’ model features a bezel adorned with 47 white diamonds, a mother-of-pearl dial set with 11 diamonds, and is powered by a quartz movement. Both editions are limited to just 50 pieces each.
The Classic Fusion Chronograph United Arab Emirates Edition is housed in a polished and satin-brushed titanium case, measuring 45 mm in diameter and 13.05 mm in height. Its satin-brushed titanium bezel adds a refined touch, while the polished titanium case back is engraved with "SPECIAL EDITION XX/50," signifying its rarity as one of 50 pieces. It offers a water resistance of 50 meters.
The timepiece showcases a captivating blue dial, inspired by the UAE’s seas, adorned with a sunray finish. Rhodium-plated applied indices and hands add a touch of elegance, while the date window at 6 o’clock features a black background for clear readability. At 3 o’clock is the small seconds subdial, while at 9 o’clock is the 30-minute counter.
Powering the watch is the automatic caliber HUB1143, which is based on the ETA 2892-A2. This latest-generation chronograph movement from Hublot has been widely used across their collection and was recently featured in the special edition for the Argentina team. It beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve.
The watches come with blue alligator leather straps and stainless steel deployant buckles. Both timepieces are exclusively available at Hublot boutiques across the UAE. The Classic Fusion Chronograph United Arab Emirates is priced at CHF 11,600, which is equivalent to 47,650 AED. The price of the smaller diamond-studded version is CHF 11,300, equivalent to 46,000 AED.
