The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Hublot Big Bang Unico in Dark Green and Orange Ceramic

A new orange hue is added to Hublot’s ceramic colors collection

The Hublot Big Bang collection, introduced in 2005, has become a hallmark of the brand. These watches stand out for their unique and striking design, merging classic Swiss craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials and contemporary style. In 2010, Hublot unveiled its first in-house movement, the Unico, a flyback chronograph mechanism, which became the core of a new line within the Big Bang collection called Unico.

In the past, ceramic watches were typically found in colors like black and white. Hublot has progressively transformed this trend by experimenting with a broader range of hues, incorporating shades like blue, gray, green, red, and yellow. This year, Hublot is pushing the boundaries again by introducing a striking orange ceramic model in the Big Bang Unico line, a color that's rarely seen in ceramic watches. Alongside this bold new orange piece, Hublot has also launched a version in dark green.

The latest Big Bang Unico models in orange and dark green ceramic come with a 42mm case diameter, a 14.5mm thickness, and a water resistance of up to 100 meters. The dial is shielded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, while the micro-blasted black ceramic caseback, also with a sapphire crystal, offers a view of the watch's inner workings. The polished round bezel showcases the signature 6 H-shaped screws made of black-plated titanium.

The openworked dial showcases hands and indices in orange or green, filled with black Super-LumiNova for visibility. It features a column wheel at the 6 o'clock position and a date wheel encircling the dial beneath the floating numerals and two sub-dials. The small seconds sub-dial is located at 9 o'clock, while the 60-minute chronograph at 3 o'clock integrates a date window.

The watch is powered by the caliber MHUB1280, an in-house automatic flyback chronograph movement featuring a column wheel mechanism. It operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 72-hour power reserve. Through the case back, you can view a black-plated openworked tungsten rotor. The watch comes with a black and orange, or black and dark green, rubber strap featuring embossed stripes and a black ceramic and titanium deployant clasp. It uses a One-Click interchangeable system for easy strap changes. Each variant is limited to 250 pieces and is priced at CHF 26,900, which is equivalent to AED 110,000.
