The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Hublot and Samuel Ross Present the Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon SR_A

Miami Art Week Showcases Their Third Collaboration, Blue Accents and a Carbon Case

The artist and designer Samuel Ross and Hublot have elevated their collaboration by exploring innovative materials and striking color combinations. Their latest creation, the Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon SR_A, was presented during Miami Art Week and reflects a constantly evolving design philosophy.

The collaboration began in 2022 with the introduction of their first limited edition. In 2023, a green Big Bang Tourbillon followed, and this year, they return with a blue edition. This new version goes further by incorporating new materials, including carbon fiber, into the design.

The watch retains its fundamental characteristics, with the case crafted entirely from micro-blasted titanium, measuring 44mm in diameter and 13.75mm in thickness.

The design features frosted grey carbon on the case sides and intermediate plate under the bezel, while the remaining elements maintain their titanium construction, with satin finishes and micro-blasted surfaces. A blue rubberized grip on the winding crown complements the updated color scheme.

Samuel Ross's distinctive honeycomb pattern continues to dominate the design, with hollowed hexagonal elements in the lugs and flanks. On the dial side, the skeletonized titanium plate acts as a dramatic backdrop, creating an illusion of movement components suspended above it.

A tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock features a metallic gray bridge, harmonizing with the titanium case. At 12 o’clock, a micro-rotor complements the hands and circular indices filled with Super-Luminova, enhancing legibility. A sapphire chapter ring surrounds the movement, with six circular hour indices, three of which are highlighted in blue.

The watch is powered by the in-house Caliber HUB6035, an automatic movement featuring a micro-rotor. Comprising 282 components, it offers a 72-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz). This caliber was also featured in previous Samuel Ross limited editions and other Big Bang Tourbillon watches.

Delivered with two rubber straps in black and blue, featuring the honeycomb motif and a titanium folding clasp, the watch offers easy interchangeability thanks to a quick-release system. Limited to just 50 pieces, the Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon SR_A is priced at CHF 130,000, approximately AED 544,000.
