The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono in Blue

A Tribute to Hamilton’s Role in Developing the First Automatic Chronograph Movement

In 2019, Hamilton unveiled the Chrono-Matic 50, a modern reimagining of the brand's vintage Count-Down GMT Chrono-Matic from the early 1970s. Featuring a robust, rounded case with two crowns and three pushers, the Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 draws clear visual inspiration from its 1970s predecessor. This timepiece celebrates Hamilton's contribution to the development of one of the world’s first automatic chronograph movements, created in collaboration with Heuer, Breitling, and Dubois Dépraz.

For 2025, Hamilton has released a new version of the Chrono-Matic 50, featuring a bold blue and orange racing-themed color scheme. The new Hamilton American Classic Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono Limited Edition continues the legacy of this iconic timepiece.

Crafted from stainless steel with a brushed finish, the Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono Limited Edition boasts a large case measuring 48.5mm in diameter and 16.05mm in thickness. The top of the case is protected by a box-shaped sapphire crystal, while the caseback is engraved with the limited-edition number, one of only 150 pieces. With a water resistance of 100 meters, the watch is as durable as it is stylish.

The right side of the case features the crown and orange pushers, while the black pusher at 10 o’clock serves as a quick date corrector. The second crown at 8 o’clock operates the countdown bezel.

The dial of the Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono Limited Edition features a striking dark blue surface, accented with white subdials and orange details. A speedometer-inspired register at 9 o’clock displays the running seconds, while a 30-minute counter is positioned at 3 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, a circular date window reveals a white calendar disc.

The dial is illuminated by luminous hands and applied hour indices. Surrounding the dial are two distinct scales: a tachymeter scale, and between the tachymeter and the central dial section, a rotating internal bezel with an orange 60-minute countdown scale. The split-color finish, combining white and blue, allows the Chrono-Matic 50 to count up or down, depending on the elapsed time measurement.

Powering the Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono Limited Edition is the brand’s Caliber H-31 automatic chronograph movement, a bi-compax version based on the Valjoux 7753 architecture. Despite maintaining the same 28,800vph (4 Hz) operating frequency as the base caliber, Hamilton’s Cal. H-31 is optimized to provide a longer 60-hour power reserve. The movement is equipped with an open-worked rotor featuring Hamilton’s signature H-shaped logo.

The watch is paired with a blue calfskin leather strap that complements the dial's hue. The strap features a perforated design, revealing a vibrant orange internal layer, and is secured with a stainless steel pin buckle.

The Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono Limited Edition is a limited release of 150 pieces, priced at CHF 2,495 (approximately AED 9,985).
