The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Grand Seiko Unveils The 62GS "Sakura Kakushi” SBGH368

The first rose gold 62GS to join the permanent collection

Grand Seiko is renowned for its ability to merge exceptional craftsmanship with the splendor of nature, as seen in many of its timepieces. In its latest release, the brand unveils the new SBGH368 "Sakura Kakushi." This stunning timepiece joins the Heritage Collection, offering a modern interpretation of the 62GS model from 1967, Grand Seiko’s first automatic mechanical watch. Now, the SBGH368 honors that legacy with the first 62GS crafted in 18K rose gold and offered as a non-limited edition.

The watch features a 38mm case with a thickness of 12.9mm and a lug-to-lug length of 44.7mm, striking an ideal balance between presence and comfort. It’s finished with Grand Seiko’s signature Zaratsu polishing, creating a mirror-like shine that complements its angular lines. The screw-down crown ensures durability, while the dual-curve sapphire crystal protects the dial. Additionally, the caseback features a sapphire crystal, offering a glimpse into the intricate workings of the movement.

The copper-pink dial of the SBGH368 is one of its most captivating features. Inspired by sakura-kakushi, the fleeting moment when cherry blossoms lie hidden beneath fallen snow, the dial evokes the serenity of a Japanese spring morning. The dial features rose gold-applied indices and hands, with a date window at 3 o’clock framed in rose gold for a harmonious look.

At the heart of the watch beats the Grand Seiko Hi-Beat Caliber 9S85, an automatic movement operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz), it offers a 55-hour power reserve with an accuracy rate of +5/-3 seconds per day.

It is paired with a brown crocodile leather strap, complemented by an 18K rose gold folding clasp with a push-button release. The SBGH368 is part of the permanent collection and will not be limited in number. It is set to be available starting in April 2025 through Grand Seiko Boutiques and select retail partners, with a price of $31,200, approximately AED 114,600.
