Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

The Glashütte Original brand, celebrated for its mastery in the horological realm, has recently unveiled a series of watches that transport us back in time. Their latest creation, the "Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date," pays homage to an era characterized by vibrancy, evolution, and style: the iconic 1970s.

Reflecting the characteristic tones of the era, the limited-edition models titled "Golden Bay" and "Ocean Breeze" stand out with their distinctive dials, capturing the warmth of ochre and the soothing touch of light gray-blue hues. A brief glance at these timepieces instantly evokes the feeling of the 1970s, with its lively spirit and cultural revolutions.

The Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date is no less impressive. It boasts high-quality execution, with the signature Panorama Date window being enhanced with Super-LumiNova for unparalleled legibility. The brand's renowned innovation involves placing the digits of the date function on the same level, removing the requirement for a physical barrier between them.

Within its meticulously crafted stainless steel case lies the in-house calibre 37-02, offering a remarkable 70-hour power reserve. These timepieces also exhibit tonal sub-dials at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, which provide readings for the small seconds and a 30-minute indicator respectively.

Blending form with functionality, the new editions not only capture the 1970s aesthetics but are also built for the modern user. Ensuring durability, the watches are housed in a 40mm stainless steel case and provide 10-bar water resistance, making them suitable for a range of environments. Whether paired with a sophisticated stainless steel bracelet or a versatile rubber strap, these watches guarantee to make a statement.

Each of the "Golden Bay" and "Ocean Breeze" models is limited to just 100 pieces, ensuring their exclusivity. They will available starting August 2023, with prices set at EUR 15,600 and EUR 16,800, respectively.
